A native of Delhi, Louisiana, Theresa has deep roots in the community she serves. She understands the area, its properties and its people, giving her clients the benefit of both local knowledge and a trusted perspective.

Theresa began her real estate career at just 18 years old after earning her license and joining local real estate professional and family friend Bill Gattis. His early encouragement and confidence helped shape her approach to business, one centered on integrity, personal relationships and treating people with genuine care.

In 1978, she founded Theresa A. Harrell Realty Company, Inc. Since then, she has had the privilege of helping generations of Louisiana residents navigate important real estate decisions. Whether someone is purchasing a first home, selling a longtime family property, looking for land or exploring a business opportunity, Theresa takes the time to understand what matters most to them.

Her education in real estate and finance from the University of Louisiana at Monroe provides a strong business foundation, while her decades of experience allow her to anticipate concerns, explain options clearly and guide clients confidently through each step. She believes people deserve thoughtful advice without pressure and responsive service they can rely on.

Theresa’s life outside of real estate has also shaped the way she works with others. Her longtime involvement in golf—including serving as a golf professional and spending 20 years as an LPGA member—strengthened her appreciation for discipline, patience and building meaningful connections. In 2010, she returned home to Louisiana to care for her parents, reflecting the deep commitment to family that continues to guide her personally and professionally.

Today, Theresa remains focused on serving her clients and contributing to the continued growth of the community she is proud to call home.
